Tony Stanley, CACI

Originally from Ohio, Tony came to Atlanta in 2016 to seek treatment and join the recovery community. Shortly after finding recovery, he began working in addiction in 2017.

During his time working in behavioral health, Tony has worked in a variety of roles including operations, clinical, and business development. He became a Certified Addiction Counselor in 2019 and went on to work as a primary counselor for The Extension in Marietta. Tony has a natural ability at connecting with others, group facilitation, and connecting families to resources throughout the state. 

He has a natural passion and discipline for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. He will complete his Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2024 and plans to continue his education with a Master of Social Work graduate degree. In his free time, Tony enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, and being an avid fan of professional wrestling and Ohio State football. With his comedic personality and his authenticity, we are excited to have Tony Stanley as our Clinical Outreach and Alumni Coordinator at Hand In Hand Recovery Center.
